M Salon was founded in 2016 by Michelle Diaz, a Boston native who grew up in salons watching her mother work as a hairstylist. From an early age, she dreamed of opening a space of her own—one that felt welcoming, stress-free, and easy for both clients and stylists. With deep roots in the city, Michelle wanted to create a salon that felt like a place the neighborhood could come to relax, connect, and feel their best. M Salon reflects her passion for great hair and giving back to the community she grew up in.
